I love reading; I always have. My parents have a picture of me from when I'm about 4 or 5 years old, and I'm sitting in my room with all of my stuffed animals around me. Every stuffed animal has an open book and we're all reading together. What can I say? I was cute as a kid. I've always read a lot and had a high reading level. For the most part, I adore the Classics that are taught in high school; there were only 2 or 3 books we read in high school that I didn't like. I enjoy reading so much that when I went to college I decided to major in English: Literature. And I've enjoyed it immensely.
I read just about everything. Mystery, romance, adventure, tragedy, fantasy, science fiction. I still read books from the young adult section (although not everything because some of that stuff just looks stupid), and I even still read stuff found in the kids section. And at the same time I read Tolstoy, Austen, Shakespeare and Dickens. I'm a lot more varied with books than I am with movies.
So here I am. I've decided to start a blog about the books I read. Obviously, I won't post quite as often because it won't be until I've finished a book. Although, I do read pretty fast and sometimes I read multiple books in one sitting. Not to mention I read more than one book at a time. I think right now I'm reading five books.
